Designed for use in very high flow 1" residential and commercial plumbing applications, a commercial quality "Big Blue" 20 inch filter housing is available with 1 inch NPT inlet/outlet connections. Manufactured with rugged polypropylene, the housing uses industry standard 4 1/2 inch diameter x 20 inch length filter cartridges, and is rated for flows up to 40 GPM. Light weight with excellent chemical resistance! Housings do not include filter cartridges, mounting brackets, or spanner wrenches. These items are available on the Cartridge Water Filters page.

Description
Pressure Relief Valve - Each housing is equipped with an integral pressure relief button. A typical method of installing a cartridge filter is to place a ball valve before and after the housing. With these ball valves in the closed position, simply press on the pressure relief button, and unscrew the housing to allow for easy replacement of the cartridge.
