Filter-AG - Clack Filter-Ag is a silica, crystalline quartz media which can be used as highly efficient filter media for the removal of suspended particulate matter. Filter-Ag has many advantages over the more common granular filter medias - it''s fractured edges and irregular surface provides a high surface area and complex flow path for more efficient removal of suspended material. Typical reduction of suspended material is within the 20-40 micron range. Filter-Ag’s larger particle size creates less pressure loss through the filter and allows for more effective filtration action deep within the bed.
