The SC-740 40 gallon per minute Cobalt-Basic disinfection system incorporates a high-output UV lamp technology coupled with a high efficiency axial flow reactor. Cobalt systems “bridge-the-gap” between our standard Silver series and high end Platinum series UV disinfection systems. Cobalt systems use high-output, coated low pressure germicidal UV lamps to deliver a powerful UV dose. These systems offer a compact installation footprint, while providing a high flow throughput. Cobalt systems use the new Cobalt "BASIC" controller providing constant output current and a universal power input (100-240V/50-60Hz), as well as visually displaying remaining lamp life and total days of operation.

Quality Construction - Sterilight Cobalt units are constructed with a 304 stainless steel housing, high grade quartz tube, and have 1 inch threaded inlet/outlet connections.
More Features - Sterilight Cobalt UV units have an onboard audible and visible on/off lamp failure alarm. The system also includes a digital count-down timer that will advise you of total running time, and when your lamp requires replacement (UV lamps are replaced after 1-year of operation).Visit our UV Sterilization Information page for more details.
Great Warranty - Sterilight Cobalt units are covered by a 7-year warranty on reaction chamber and 5 year pro-rated warranty on components other than probe and lamps.

Replacement UV lamp - Having a spare lamp on hand is convenient in the event of unexpected lamp failure. Supplied with o-rings. Note: to protect your system from power surges, we recommend plugging your system into an inexpensive surge suppressor. Part number S740RL-HO.
Replacement Quartz Tube - Although not an item requiring regular replacement, a spare quartz tube eliminates down-time if the original tube is damaged. Supplied with o-rings. Part number QS-740.
