Quality Construction - Sterilight Platinum units are constructed with a 304 stainless steel housing, high grade quartz tube, and have 1 inch threaded inlet/outlet connections (this unit also contains 3/4 inch internal threaded connections).
More Features - The advanced Platinum controller utilizes a digital display with an integral UV intensity meter and includes an elapsed time meter to advise you when lamp replacement is required. Platinum models can be used with an optional electrically operated shut-off solenoid valve to stop the flow of water in the event of an alarm condition (UV lamps are normally replaced after 1-year of operation). Replacement UV lamp - Having a spare lamp on hand is convenient in the event of unexpected lamp failure. Supplied with o-rings. Note: to protect your system from power surges, we recommend plugging your system into an inexpensive surge suppressor. Part number S150RL-HO.
Replacement Quartz Tube - Although not an item requiring regular replacement, a spare quartz tube eliminates down-time if the original tube is damaged. Supplied with o-rings. Part number QS-150.
